Not everyone dreams of the North Cape and the equator in one and the same ride. If you trim off those extremes, this Violetta Lady - a lightweight - touring jacket might be your best choice. A 2-in-1, waterproof, with thermal lining and a centered, feminine cut.
The exterior of this Violetta Lady consists of a hard-wearing and tear-resistant 500D polyester, which has been given a double layer where useful and/or necessary. That's enough to get you places. And despite the wear- and tear-resistance, the Violetta Lady feels quite comfortable, something Modeka often makes a point of. The outer shell got an integrated Humax®-Z-liner, which is water- and windproof and breathable. It also makes extra membranes superfluous. Or it must be a removable thermal layer. It seems thin, but it has the right properties to provide extra warmth and comfort during cold rides. Remember the first paragraph: we would not go to the extreme north, but touring between the 40th and 60th degrees of latitude should be possible. Concretely: from Oslo to the south of Spain.
Those trips will be comfortable, because the Violetta Lady leaves no stone unturned. The integrated waterproof membrane in the outer layer increases the need for ventilation openings, which you find on the shoulders, over half the length of the sleeves and at the back. If you unzip everything, the wind has free rein.
The cut is feminine. That's for sure. You can accentuate that with the centered velcro loop on the left and right. There you can also counteract a bulging effect by opening the vertical zipper, making the Violetta fan out at the bottom, which can be interesting in a sitting position. And if you are adapting the jacket individually: upper and lower arm each have two press buttons, while the collar is closed with a strip of velcro. ‘Not fitting' is almost impossible.
Protection comes from the YF shoulder and elbow protectors. Level 1, EN1621-1:2021 in the official books. Flexible, light protectors as we speak. If you want, you can even fit an optional back protector.
Two side pockets with zipper, a chest pocket and a few possible storage places inside (also in the thermal lining) eventually result in quite some space.
Reflective material is not lacking, nor is the connecting zipper. The latter seems to be a request to pair the Violetta Lady motorcycle pants. And that would not be a bad choice, on the contrary.
