So it's ideal for the bike, letting you use that smartphone as normal while it charges. Because let's be honest: that was often the problem when a smartphone doubles as a GPS. With RAM® Tough-Charge™ Charger with X-Grip® Technology this is a thing of the past.
Attaching your smartphone is easy with the spring-loaded, fourfold X-Grip® Technology in - ah yes - X-shape. This is familiar from a whole range of smartphone holders and, in combination with an elastic additional strap, it has to be really off-road before you run into trouble. The rubber-covered ends of the 'X' grip your device and when that is no longer a problem, the focus shifts to charging it.
The wireless charging is done via the base of the holder. The 'wireless' refers to the connection between smartphone and RAM® Tough-Charge™ charger. The latter must obtain its energy from the vehicle to which it is attached via a USB cable. This can possibly be done via a charger for USB port RAM-CHARGE-V7MU.
A push button allows you to use RAM® Tough-Charge™ charger with X-Grip® Technology 'just' as a holder, without the charging function. The LED light on the base reveals whether everything is working properly. Given the ruggedness of this charger, this is the case in almost all circumstances.
At the back you will see the characteristic 1'' ball that serves as a basis for almost every conceivable attachment or extension.
The only condition is that you don't exceed the extreme range of the holder. The width is a minimum of 6.03 centimeters and a maximum of 8.25 centimeters. The depth is always 2.22 cm, if you need to know that too.
