This looks like a lumberjack's shirt, but is actually a full-fledged motorcycle jacket, and offers a lot more protection than you would get from non-motorcycling clothing. Ideal for urban, short trips or a summer alternative to the full-blooded motorcycle jacket.
A hard-wearing cotton exterior helps. Yes, but cotton isn't hard-wearing, is it? No, but if you add a layer of Aramid (Kevlar®) underneath it, you come pretty close. The strength of this Jaguar is under its skin. Germas uses a polyester lining that keeps the unit absolutely comfortable and pleasant.
It is a legal requirement that motorcycle clothing is closed by a zipper, so the sturdy snaps hide a central zipper behind a flap. The sleeve ends show a similar phenomenon, and here you can use the double press stud to choose for a tighter or looser effect.
Furthermore this is mainly 'what you see is what you get': a shirt with motorbike ambitions. That also means that there is no endless series of extras. Two chest pockets that can be closed provide a bit of storage, complemented by an inner pocket.
Adjustment possibilities are not really necessary and because the whole has a certain degree of natural permeability, the Jaguar is first and foremost a warm-blooded animal.
Well developed and equally well designed is the shoulder area, at the back. Where an 'ordinary' shirt in the motorcycle position - with the arms and shoulders forward - would always be under tension, extra fabric is provided and processed. It makes riding a lot more pleasant.
The elbow and shoulder protectors are flexible and light, removable, and of course, CE-certified. An optional back protector can be fitted if required.
The cut is quite standard, although the back is a bit longer and the Belt Loop prevents you from riding with your back bare.
