The fans of jet helmets, open face motorcycle helmets and sporadic city traffic will already have noticed: communication is not always easy. You can yell at each other, or install a huge microphone, or ... you opt for design and style, coupled with high-tech functions.
With that in mind, SENA created the 3S Plus Boom, which allows you to communicate in two directions up to 400 meters. With another motorcyclist in the latter case because if your passenger is at that distance, something is wrong.
The headset - because that's what the 3SPLUS-B is - fits easily into a jet helmet. The microphone also contains the only two buttons for the controls. This way it all stays minimalistic and sleek. Also in the helmet, where the speakers are located, efficiency and simplicity are key. There is no need to attach anything externally, unless it is the USB-cable when charging.
Furthermore, the 3S Plus Boom is completely SENA, which means that there is 'Advanced Noise Control' built in, that updates happen via the same USB cable and that everything is Bluetooth 4.1 compatible: music, GPS, possibly via the app, voice control (in eleven languages) ...
Suppose you're looking for something similar, but not quite this, then the SENA 3S Plus Universal (3SPLUS-WB) might appeal to you. With its external control, separate from the microphone, it lends itself perfectly to a smooth mounting in and on full-face helmets.
General note: The world of electronics (which also includes intercoms, smartphones, GPS, etc.) changes so quickly that it is possible that some (outdated) devices are not compatible with each other in certain areas. Unfortunately, the manufacturer can't provide us with data that shows which combinations between intercoms/GPSs and/or smartphones cause problems. A regular update of all electronic devices is therefore desirable to avoid problems as much as possible.
