With the Traffic H2O, REV'IT! is targeting a younger audience for whom the motorcycle or scooter is primarily a convenient means of transportation in an urban context. And for whom appearance and style are just as important as safety on the road. Urban jungle material in other words.
Hence the Trafic H2O, a softshell motorcycle jacket with a fixed hood. It is cut short and can be worn under different clothing types. ‘What you see is what you get', because no removable membranes or thermal linings. But it is a warm, pleasantly feeling motorbike jacket with a sleek design. The exterior is a 3L Softshell - it can take a splash and doesn't feel like your typical motorcycle outfit - with an integrated Hydratex®-Z liner. The result is waterproof and comfortable.
The lining is a fixed element, which makes you suspect that the Traffic H20 will mainly be used outside of high summer. The fixed hood fits perfectly in that case. Two zippered side pockets (and waterproof ambitions) and an inner pocket provide enough storage space.
You don't have a lot of customization options at your disposal, and you don't need to. A motorcycle jacket like the Traffic H2O is something you wear over whatever you happen to be wearing at the time. This is not a matter of 'we're going to change clothes and ride our motorcycle'. It is a matter of 'get on and go'. Practical and convenient, that's how it should be. The waist can be tightened with a drawstring and the same goes for the collar. The ends of the sleeves are supplied with velcro.
Impact protection is provided by SEESMART™ elbow and shoulder protectors. If desired, a SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector can be fitted. The laminated reflective material (around the stash pockets, on the sleeves and in the logo) excels at being inconspicuous during the day, but does an excellent job when needed.
The combination with a good pair of motorcycle jeans seems obvious. The fact that REV'IT! provides a pair of belt loops underlines that.
