Kriega and REV'IT! are two specialists in their respective fields, and when they join forces, the results are usually favorable. The four motorcycle backpacks developed by Kriega and REV'IT! illustrate this.
This Stack H2O 15L is one of the two 'urban' specimens that the collaboration produces. Commuter gear in other words, or suitable for a more relaxed trip on tarmac roads. For adventurous endurance rides, we'd like to refer you to the Arid 9L H2O or the Barren 18L H2O, while the Load 22L H2O more closely matches this Stack H2O.
The urban commute is primarily a visual element. Both this Stack H2O and the larger Load H2O look just a tad less aggressive or adventurous than their brothers, content-wise, the essence remains just as well preserved: getting things to their destination dry, fitting a Kriega Hydrabag in where necessary, and all in ingenious fashion, courtesy of the Kriega Quadlock-Lite™ harness which is absolutely impressive.
Each of these four motorcycle backpacks that also bear the Kriega logo are of the "is it strapped to our backs or not?" type, and that's saying a lot. Of course, Kriega is a specialist for a reason. Just like REV'IT! The Kriega Quadlock-Lite™ harness is a piece of top technology. Chest, shoulders, and waist support the load, and the mesh panel on the back keeps it comfortable. By default, each strap is adjustable – of course - but pay extra attention to the possibility of adjusting the shoulder straps not only at the bottom but also at the top, on the shoulders. The idea behind this is that the chest strap can be perfectly positioned, regardless of your body shape. The way it's done, without any excess flapping around, is in three letters 'top'.
The construction that Kriega makes available here makes it possible to carry the Stack H2O 15L on your back for a whole day without worries. The whole thing (Ripstop, leather, 500D, a reflective logo) also gives a sleek impression. And as often, it's the details that make it complete. Look for the Kriega 'K' and the REV'IT! logo on both shoulder straps. Amongst neatly finished stitching and leather details. You can't help but be cheerful.
And we already were, actually. Cheerful. Because the roll-up closure in the Stack contains an extra storage compartment with zipper. Because of the four adjustable straps that keep everything - regardless of the load - compact. But mainly because of the comfort the Stack H2O stays on your back thanks to the Kriega Quadlock-Lite ™ harness.
Luggage and backpack expert Kriega is pretty sure of itself and gives a 10-year warranty on all their products. The same applies for this cooperation between REV’IT! and Kriega, which now results in a faster change of motorcycle than we do of our rider backpack.
