The Hydraflux 2 Air D-Dry®-motorcycle jacket is versatility personified. Air and D-Dry® combined into one package. Ventilation combined with waterproofness. For every motorcyclist who loves to spend a lot of time on his motorcycle.
That all said and done, shaping such a solid motorcycle jacket is something else. The exterior of the Hydraflux 2 Air D-Dry®-motorbike jacket consists of perforated and ventilated mesh. Definitely wear-resistant, yet also designed to give riding wind free play. Its official name: Omega-mesh, light but strong. Quick-drying inserts keep everything together and provide an extra layer of wear-resistance on shoulders, sleeves and sides. Below that, there is a waterproof lining that you fold and store compactly, just to magically whisk out when needed. The removable D-Dry®-membrane seems to be extremely thin but can easily withstand a heavy rain shower.
Ventilation openings are obviously redundant, just like thermal linings. Ventilated and waterproof, that’s an impressive combination on its own.
The impact protection consists of removable EN1621.1-certified composite protectors on shoulders and elbows, and there’s the option to integrate a back protector.
There’s some storage space thanks to two slash pockets with zipper. There are no other pockets; ventilation material and the tight-fitting cut lay their focus elsewhere. That tight cut means that you don’t need an endless range of adjustment options. The waterproof membrane is so thin that a little bit of Velcro in your waist, on the sleeve ends and the collar suffices to make sure the Hydraflux 2 Air D-Dry®motorcycle jacket fits perfectly.
There is no connecting zipper; it seems obvious that you combine this motorbike jacket with proper motorbike jeans.
