There's electricity in the air, as they say. The Elettrica Air Tex motorcycle jacket's main claim to fame is its design, although there is something to be said for its versatility. A windproof jacket with a thermal lining - that makes life a little easier.
D-Synth 350 is the name of the hardwearing outer fabric, which is particularly noticeable on the sleeves, upper back and chest. The lower half of the outer shell consists of micromesh: you can barely see through it, but the wind almost has free play. The combination is one where you do have the feeling of being on the road with a motorcycle jacket on your body, while the riding wind also plays a large role. Ideal in summer conditions. Underneath, a (removable) thermal lining can take care of the extreme temperature fluctuations. Early in the morning, late at night, or just a summer’s day that is a bit unpredictable, it should not be a problem when you use the Elettrica Air Tex motorcycle jacket as part of your basic equipment.
And because 'warmth’ is not far away, Dainese chooses a disinfecting base lining that keeps all that healthy and neat.
The Elettrica Air Tex motorcycle jacket is a short motorcycle jacket. The back covers the lower back, but that's where it stops, and that's the way it should be. With velcro strips (waist and collar) and snaps (sleeves) you can adjust the fit a bit tighter or looser, but we assume that you immediately go for a good (read: tight) fit.
Certified EN1621.1 elbow and shoulder protectors go a long way in providing impact protection. The optional back protector can be fitted yourself.
It seems a logical choice to combine the Elettrica Air Tex motorcycle jacket with a good pair of jeans.
