In almost all circumstances, because also on board: a waterproof membrane and a removable, 90-gram, thermal lining. This will get you a long way. Maybe a bit more if the temperature stays within acceptable limits, although with four (good) ventilation openings in the front and a fixed mesh lining inside you can also do well in summer.
It's well put together, that's for sure. From the stitching on the sleeves to the leather patch or the velcro on which you can attach an extra patch. From the fine finish on top of the collar to the extra attachment point in the sleeve for the thermal lining. On top of that, you get a series of extra adjustment possibilities, making it possible for this short cut 'body fit' to fit almost perfectly.
Add to that the standard, adjustable and CE-certified ALPHA elbow and shoulder protectors, add an optional back protector and you know that the Fergus is a very complete, full-fledged and multi-purpose motorcycle jacket. One with a distinct Segura signature.
