The chassis – the exterior – consists of 600 Denier polyester with a double layer of polyurethane in all the critical places. 600D is well-known in motorbike pants circles and for very good reason: it is wear- and tear-resistant. Motorbike pants need to be able to move as well; just like their wearer. Male or female. Which explains the presence of stretch material with double PU-coating. Especially on the sides, around the waist and in the back, these inserts are noticeable. There’s leather too, on the inside, in the seat area.
If we’re talking about the interior: there’s a fixed internal Drystar®-membrane – breathing and waterproof –, which takes these pants pretty close to becoming excellent touring and/or commuter pants. Versatile too, thanks to the removable thermal lining and double ventilation zipper on the upper legs. The weather can be versatile too; crazy things should happen not to keep the Stella Gravity Drystar® with both feet solid on the ground.
Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 Armor in the shape of two knee protectors come standard. Whoever wants to opt for extra CE-certified Bio-Flex protective material at the hips, can choose to do so.
It's obvious that the Stella Gravity Drystar® can be adapted a bit. Half the lady motorcyclists wear motorbike pants like these on top of their regular pants, so there should be a little play. Velcro straps on the sides are an added value in that case. Just like the long zippers at the bottom, which allow you to keep your motorcycle boots on while getting into your motorcycle pants.
