Where there are no punctures, you can feel the goatskin (back of your hand) and kangaroo leather (palm). The Coolmax lining underneath the goatskin redirects the wind while the palm, without extra lining, mainly ensures a crisp contact with the handlebars. This results in a Rodney II that delivers suppleness and dexterity. Sweaty palms are of no concern, whatsoever.
No need to look for hard components. The integrated foam rubber knuckle protector offers a tad of additional impact protection, just like the elaborated reinforcements on the palm and the SuperFabric on the exterior of the pinkie and hand; yet, these are primarily motorcycle gloves for cruising. There’s a Velcro closure on the wrist. Elastic stretch material on the back of the hand optimises an excellent fit. A bonus is the visor wiper on the left index finger. That the fingertips are touchscreen compatible, seems apparent by now.
