The Descent H20 holds the middle ground between "I'm going hiking!" and "Where's my motorcycle?” In times of specialization, REV'IT! manages to come up with an excellent combination.
Admittedly, at first sight it looks like you could walk to Santiago de Compostella in these. However, these are full-fledged, ankle-high motorcycle shoes. And yet ... they're light, comfortable, stylish, waterproof, padded ... you might even reach your destination on foot. Especially since you can easily switch back to your bike on the way.
The circumstances are no problem: with a breathable, waterproof, integrated hydratex® membrane, this is a shoe that will prove its worth anytime, anywhere.
The exterior consists of a smart combination of leather, ripstop, Hypalon, suede, stretch and one and a half square centimeters of reflective material. The Hypalon mesh has a direct link to the backpacks REV'IT! created with Kriega, and is lighter and more flexible than if the Descent H20 were made entirely of leather. This is undoubtedly an added bonus, and it doesn't prevent the Descent H20 from making a solid, robust impression.
High-quality elements such as the anatomically shaped OthoLite® footbed, the stable, sturdy EVA sole and the all-round durable construction are always useful. Just like the good lacing with velcro at the top. Or the fact that the presence and sensitivity of the Achilles tendon has been taken into account. Whether you're on foot or on your bike, these are handy and well-thought-out qualities in any shoe. REV'IT! brings them together in the Descent H2O in a seemingly natural way, and the result is "special".
It's up to you whether you prefer the typical urban mix of riding, hiking, and quickly alternating between the two, or whether you want to comfortably climb the stairs to that castle in the field after a long touristic motorcycle ride.
