There are similarities between this Pulse H2O and the Flux H2O, but also the Link GTX is similar. Each of these boots are very solid, sturdy, classic motorcycle boots, which will appeal to every rider, commuter and even touring rider. Each time they get their own accents and that's why we call this Pulse H2O the most adventurous and lightest of the above-mentioned trio of waterproof motorcycle boots.
The difference and therefore also the biggest advantage of the Pulse H2O, compared to its companions? The outer shell consists of high-quality microfiber material and abrasion-resistant Ripstop, which makes this boot more flexible and lighter than many of its (leather) colleagues. Add some neoprene, a strip of rubber and a bit of laminated film and you get a completely reworked exterior.
Beside the fact that the lines are otherwise mostly similar. Solid, without too many frills, with ample accordion strips at the front and back, a high-rise shaft which protects your shin but is still kind to your calf muscles... These are all recurring elements. The hydratex® Z-liner membrane which the Pulse H2O shares with the Flux H2O makes this breathable motorcycle boot perfectly waterproof. Reinforcements at the toe, heel, ankle and on the side protect the foot from unnatural twisting, bending or bumping.
You can ride the Flux H2O without worries for a long time, then get off and continue your journey on foot without problems. Of course, they are not walking shoes, but they are comfortable and the stable but flexible rubber sole has a lot to do with this. Although the anatomically shaped OthoLite® footbed may also claim some of its merits here.
The Pulse H2O is a sporty adventurer that makes no concessions. Not in the sturdy, water-resistant zipper that runs all the way down, not in the wide velcro strap on the shin and not in the detailed finish.
A striking but excellent extra element is definitely worth mentioning: next to the long zipper you can clearly see a strip of stretch material. No elastic, but enough to lift the overall comfort level just that little bit higher.
This well-priced, classic motorcycle boot-with-a-twist can and will give you long and frequent riding fun, in very different circumstances. No doubt about it.
