This is a classic, leather motorcycle boot. Solid, without a lot of frills, with ample accordion strips front and back, a high-rise shaft that protects your shin but is still kind to your calf muscles. Water-resistant leather and GORE-TEX® make this breathable motorcycle boot waterproof, and reinforcements at the toe, heel, ankle, and on the side protect the foot from unnatural twisting, bending, or bumping.
You can ride the Link GTX a long way without any worries, then get off and continue your journey on foot without any problems. Of course, they are not walking shoes, but they are still comfortable and the stable but flexible rubber sole is one of them. Although the anatomically shaped OthoLite® footbed may also claim a share of the credit.
The Link GTX is a comfort seeker that makes no concessions whatsoever. Not in the sturdy, water-resistant zipper that runs all the way down, not in the wide velcro strap on the shin and not in the detailed finish.
A striking but excellent extra element is definitely worth mentioning: next to the long zipper you can clearly see a strip of stretch material. No elastic, but enough to lift the overall comfort level just that little bit higher.
