With this two-piece motorcycle racing suit, REV'IT! aims primarily at the style lover, and less at the true track fanatic who wants to use it to improve his lap times. The focus is therefore first and foremost on the price and relation to quality.
Although the Beta combination remains a CE-certified AAA class, REV'IT! deliberately leaves a number of boxes open. This two-piece racing suit comes your way as standard without sliders, and the absence of a hump underscores that this primarily allows for street-oriented use. Chest and back protection are also optional.
Furthermore, the Beta 2-piece motorcycle suit has everything you expect from a combination of this caliber. Starting with practicality: the average motorcyclist will slip into a two-piece combination faster than a full-blooded MotoGP suit. The sporty influences and basic ideas remain the same. Leather is the main component, complemented in the right places by mesh (shoulder pads, as a chimney), stretch material (knees, sleeves, flanks, shoulders and crotch) and a stripe of reflection. The 3D shoulder pads and leather perforations ensure a pleasant climate. Waterproofness should not be expected here.
The used safety seams contribute to the general wear resistance, which for all intents and purposes continues to exceed the 'normal'. Everything you see and feel here is derived from MotoGP, without wanting to be effective.
The external, hard shoulder protection is TPU and the extra layer of foam at the height of your tailbone, just like all the protectors present, are excellent and very protective elements. Not for riding 300 kph, but in (more than) average street use more than enough to keep it safe and enjoyable. It is on that balance that you have to situate the Beta combination: daily comfort and safe functionality. Of course, a hump with camelbag option is handy but if you don't find yourself on a track in a race, you just stop at that terrace, right? You can do that a number of times for the price difference.
SEEFLEX® elbow, shoulder and knee protectors fit the bill, linking flexible, dexterous and well-ventilated protection with sufficient quality should the going get rough. The hip protector is SEESMART®. Nothing prevents you from adding some extras yourself. Knee sliders can indeed replace the leather knee pads that are standard. The chest and back protector(SEESOFT® RV or SEESOFT® Air) are optional as well.
Everything can be zipped together centrally or not. Again: the choice is free. It once again proves the versatility of this combination.
At the bottom of the pant legs an extra zipper allows adjustment of the (stretchy) calves, because a pair of motorbike pants like this should fit perfectly. A similar construction at the sleeves has the same purpose.
Two inner pockets serve to store the necessary.
We recommend regular treatment with a water-repellent maintenance product. This treatment keeps the jacket from getting soaked and prevents dirt from sticking to the jacket. For longer-term maintenance, we recommend using a spray for matte leather, so that the leather remains supple.
