The Coral Lady is part of REV'IT's timeless category of motorcycle jackets, known as the Heritage collection. Iconic classics meet contemporary qualities, which usually results in pleasant designs.
This Coral Lady is one of them. Design and style were definitely first in line when the list of qualities was drawn up. Without having to make many concessions, this is in the first place a visual class act.
The basic ingredients are limited: cowhide leather and PWR|SHELL stretch, that's all you need to make the Coral. The former for the supple, signature leather look and feel, the latter to make that former fit like a glove. The flanks and the inside of the sleeves almost perfectly match the feminine fit of the body and that's of course the intention. The centered cut is a logical consequence. It's allowed to feel tight, especially in the beginning. The leather adapts itself and the Coral has a thermal lining. This is removable, so the resulting clearance is an extra factor to take into account. REV'IT likes its clothing to fit snugly, and you won't find any flapping, fluttering water things. Not even if they refer to coral.
The back is just a tad longer than the front, which is pleasant in the case of a motorcycle jacket - and with a typical motorcycle position.
Zippers on the sleeve ends and a snap button on the collar give stability and a solid impression. Not that the Coral lacks these things, but still ... Clearly much attention to detail was featured to complete this motorcycle jacket. A motorcycle jacket where every detail has been thought about.
Two front storage pockets are the only elements that make the clean lines a little less tight. In exchange, you get of course the possibility to keep the necessities at hand.
The timeless style is combined here with a contemporary, even future-oriented, functionality. The SEESMART®-protectors provide pleasant (read: thin but very solid) impact protection on the shoulders and elbows. The option to fit a SEESOFT® RV or SEESOFT® Air back protector is also available.
The combination with a good pair of motorcycle jeans is probably - and rightly - preferred.
There is maintenance clothing, and then there is clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. So invest in its maintenance after your purchase and enjoy your gear for longer.
