The Valve H2O is a waterproof, laminated motorcycle jacket to attack any plan. REV'IT! itself positions the Valve H2O as the closest thing to asphalt adventure, and that's where the style comes in. The combination of CORIUM+® leather (sleeves) and breathable 3L hydratex with ripstop (the fabric combination is called CORIUM+® technical fabric) on the torso is a cross between circuit and touring. Between 'racing' and 'a ride'.
Visually as well.
The heart of this jacket is mainly touring. With a removable thermal lining and the now familiar VCS|Aquadefence vents on the chest, you're armed against a wide range of weather conditions. The removable storm collar seems to suggest that you should go to one extreme, but we repeat: VCS|Aquadefence is still a top invention. Large, magnetic, hand operable - even when on the move - and waterproof when not in use, these vents deliver more than their fair share of cooling when the need arises. The leather is also perforated and plays a part in the wider story.
For completeness we like to repeat it again: the Valve H2O is a laminated combination of leather and textile. Water drips, flows or flows off here like the better water bird, beaver or otter. Without sponge effect, without heavy shoulders, without still-wet-motor jacket-the-morning-after.
Further, the Valve H2O keeps it short and checkered. The leather elements are a nod to racing and a short cut goes with that. Despite the touring ambitions, indeed. It contributes to the 'special' factor of this jacket, which will make any lover of good motorcycle clothing turn around. The large amount of PWR|Shell - stretch material - on the shoulders and the inside of the sleeves allows for that tightness, without compromising on comfort or mobility. Especially since there's plenty of velcro at the waist to adjust the fit.
REV'IT decided to go all-in with the Valve H2O, delivering a total package that catapults us straight into the top tier of touring jackets. This goes from the neoprene trim on the collar, to the reflective logo on the back. From the available storage space (pockets and inner pockets) to the pocket that fits a SEESOFT® chest protector.
The SEESOFT® back protector is standard, as are the SEEFLEX® elbow and shoulder protectors which, as the name suggests, offer soft, flexible protection.
The Valve H20 is a waterproof top-act that will turn heads. You can tell by the price, but you can tell even better by the feel and qualities of this motorcycle jacket.
