The GT-R Air 3 is the direct successor of its namesakes and predecessors. What was good, was kept, and a visual restyling ensures that this motorcycle jacket is completely up-to-date.
It was already no-nonsense. And it still is. Motor jackets with the word 'air' in their name obviously don't focus on warm and waterproof properties. This is a short, light summer jacket for summer riding. REV'IT! takes a number of features from the sporty segment, adds a lot of ventilation possibilities, a high degree of protection, and after a good shake this is the result we get.
And at what a price!
The GT-R Air 3 has a wear and tear resistant exterior made from 600D polyester in the crucial areas. The use of polyester mesh (front, back and arms) and 3D air mesh (chest and upper back) provides a lot of ventilating properties. It also eliminates the need for additional zips or vents. The 300D 'hexagonal' - recognizable by the hexagonal motif - is new.
Because this is a jacket you wear when it's actually too hot to wear a motorcycle jacket, the focus is on light weight and good protection. When only the essentials are present, you don't need a lot of customization options. However, REV'IT wouldn't be REV'IT if they didn't provide something at the waist (velcro) and sleeves (snap button) to make the GT-R Air 3 a tight fit. You know the GT-R Air 3 won't be a flapping thing around your body. With an inside pocket and two zippered pockets in the front, you can also take something with you on the road.
No concessions are made when it comes to impact protection: the proprietary SEESMART® Level 1 CE protection has already proven its effectiveness. Shoulders and elbows are equipped with it. This motorcycle jacket is prepared to be fitted with an optional SEESOFT® RV or SEESOFT® Air CE level 2 back protector. At the back, the GT-R Air 3 has a reflective stripe.
A short connection zipper is included, allowing for combination with almost any REV'IT!
