It doesn't get much more casual than this. The Parabolica is a sporty and urban-oriented jacket that is pleasant to wear without sacrificing safety. On the contrary: with an AA-certification this stretchy motorcycle jacket is surprisingly well-padded.
However, the stretch polyester is first and foremost a soft material. The Parabolica looks like a jogging outfit, or a hoodie. The great freedom of movement and the all-round comfort will absolutely delight many (younger?) motorcyclists, and leaves little to be desired for short trips on the scooter or in the city.
Waterproofing is not to be expected and neither are extra membranes or linings. Despite the solid AA certification, you should not try to improve your speed record with this one. The Parabolica is not made for that. It's more a house suit than a race suit - at least in terms of looks - and this jacket allows you to stay safe on the road without having to change your clothes before every ride or city trip.
The hood, which turns the hoodie into a hoodie, can be attached at the back with a press button. Two zippered side pockets and as many (subtle) reflective elements provide an all-around clean and sleek style.
The SEESMART® protectors on the shoulders and elbows fit that thought. Thin, light and still good. Those who wish can fit an optional SEESOFT® RV or SEESOFT® Air back protector.
The Parabolica is allowed to sit - stretching - well and tight around the body. The sleeve ends are a perfect fit, and with the double Belt Loop and a short connecting zipper you can combine to your heart's content. The thumb loop is neatly incorporated into the elastic sleeve end.
To complete the look: the Parabolica biker pants.
