The Segura Lady Terence is definitely a motorcycle jacket. The (hidden) central zipper and the press studs at the sleeve ends are what make this into a pretty tight, enjoyable and comfortable motorcycle jacket. Which then disguises itself as a jean overshirt.
The first thing that stands out, is the Body Fit styling for that feminine and elegant silhouette. That centred line is even visible when it’s hanging from the coat rack. The construction is light and breathable, which together with the look & feel makes you realise this is probably something to wear during the summer months. The city is the natural biotope of the Lady Terence, which is completed by the flexible and not very heavy CE ALPHA EN1621-1 Level 1 certified elbow and shoulder protectors. If you want, you can choose to fit in a back protector.
The base material is denim. More specifically: cotton and 1% elastane. Just enough to deliver a well-fitting yet comfortable result. Stretch denim and Dupont Kevlar in all the critical places deliver a wear and tear-resistant unit. Relatively speaking of course, because no matter how you look at it, this is obviously not gear you wear to complete a lap at the Isle of Man TT.
In the city, comfort takes over. Light, stylish, comfortable, with lots of freedom to move and with the protection you need. The Lady Terence doesn’t drop the ball here. With two inner and two outer pockets, you have plenty of storage space. It is clear that a tight-fitting motorcycle overshirt like this one is not the ideal solution to store large volumes.
The Lady Terence motorcycle jacket or the Lady Terence motorcycle overshirt, these are just names. Labels. Reality – a piece of timeless and comfortable motorcycle clothing – is what it truly is about and that’s where the Segura Lady Terence comes in. And she comes in fast.
The combination with a pair of motorcycle jeans is obvious.
