The Brandon Cargo by Modeka is a fairly substantial pair of motorcycle jeans with cargo pockets—hence the name—and a solid dose of protective, abrasion-resistant material on the inside. A great companion, especially for spring and autumn rides.
The combination of an outer layer made of cotton (with elastane—more on that later) and an internal layer of DuPont KEVLAR is the most traditional way to construct motorcycle jeans. In the past, summer riders with high expectations sometimes grumbled about heat buildup, but that’s easily solved: just wear the Brandon Cargo at the right time—not when it's 30°C or hotter.
DuPont KEVLAR reinforces the thighs and knees. The cotton and elastane take care of the rest in a slim-fit cut. That means no unnecessary flapping in the wind. Without feeling like a second skin, the fit is snug. And when it comes to elasticity, the elastane in these jeans is seriously stretchy.
You’ll find the five classic jean pockets, plus two cargo pockets on the thighs. Buttons, rivets, the zipper, and the waistband with belt loops all inspire enough confidence to actually store something in those pockets. The overall look is just a bit tougher than your average pair of jeans. A nice touch: the two back pockets have snap buttons, keeping your wallet secure when you reach your destination. Don’t need them? Just tuck the flaps inside. The rounded snap button won’t scratch your seat. Both cargo pockets also feature snap buttons for added security.
The included protective armor is of the "thin to ultra-thin" variety, fitting perfectly with the slim-fit design and the general trend of motorcycle jeans that aren’t meant for track days. Despite their slim profile, they’re still SAS-TEC knee protectors, level 1—so quality is guaranteed. Optional SAS-TEC SC-1/07 or SC-1/KA hip protectors can be added.
Modeka has also integrated a reflective strip inside the lower leg. Want to boost visibility at night? Just roll up the cuffs, and you’re good to go.
