The 3-in-1 Mundial is the evolutionary next step of the Equator motorcycle jacket. With this, you can tackle almost every climate zone, every day of the year. Or all of them. Standard reflective strips and fluorescent elements, so far so good; this version of the Mundial, however, also has the revolutionary Night Eye. The large panels of grey fabric on the sleeves – front and back – light up at night and in the evening because they reflect incoming light back to its source. Neutral by day, just as visible as a fluorescent vest by night(fall).
The Mundial is a textile motorcycle jacket with a typical Macna cut: short in the front and longer in the back, for practical motorcycle use. No bulging jacket, no cold chills on your back, that’s what it comes down to in a nutshell.
The removable Raintex® membrane ensures waterproofness. A removable thermal lining makes the motorcycle jacket suitable for and adjustable to all seasons. In summer, two wide, easily opened ventilation panels-with-zip on the chest allow for lots of riding wind. There are also two ventilation openings on the arms. Don’t forget to open up the ventilation at the back, obviously.
With an exterior made of wear-resistant Durylon, supplemented with Fybrex, you can be certain that tear-resistance is on point. It even feels good and comfortable at that.
The Mundial is not – for a 3-in-1 – superheavy (3 kilograms) and allows a lot of range of motion. Thanks to a drawstring on the inside, the adjustability on the flanks and press studs at the forearms and wrists, the jacket can be adjusted quickly and effortlessly. Easy cuff at the sleeve ends means that tampering with loops and different lining layers is now a thing of the past.
Those same sleeve ends were given a makeover in soft material and are now equipped with non-aggressive Velcro. Yes, that’s the friendly version of the Velcro that seems to want to rip your gloves, scarf or bandana to shreds. The staggered zip construction in the front emphasises the waterproof properties and the all-round weather resistance of the Mundial even more.
Two wide storage pockets offer room to what you definitely want to store.
There’s also the easily accessible inner pockets and a variety of storage compartments in the removable layers.
If all this versatility isn’t enough, the exterior of the Mundial motorcycle jacket is completely ready for the Vision Tech vest. Reflective strips on the side and the back warrant a very solid visibility. You decide on the CE-certified back protector yourself, the level 1 elbow protection and level 1 shoulder protection come standard. These protectors are ventilated by the way, they smell good (really) and they stay flexible and hence, comfortable, in all circumstances.
A short connecting zipper facilitates the combination with the Blazor motorcycle trousers. After your adventure, you can simply use the ‘Coat hanger’ to store away your Mundial motorcycle jacket. Until the next trip around the world.
