With the Inland, Macna presents a motorcycle jacket that doesn’t look like a motorcycle jacket. A summery motorcycle jacket too that can perfectly withstand the dawn of spring or the remainder of autumn.
It looks like you are wearing a denim shirt over a hoodie but this is absolutely a full-blown and perfectly safe motorcycle jacket. Granted, not to appear at the starting line of a MotoGP race, but to enjoy multiple fun bike adventures on the road. It’s okay if those adventures are spiked with coffee breaks or a terrace here and there; you’ll never look out of place.
Macna designed a (slightly) centred style with a comfortable fit. The combination of cotton and (stretching) elastane is supplemented with wear-resistant Aramid on the back, shoulders and elbows. Add the RISC-protectors on shoulders and elbows and you get a full-blown motorcycle jacket. Even though it doesn’t look like one. The sturdy central zipper is hidden underneath the cover flap with pushbuttons and both chest pockets seem to have jumped off a denim shirt. Not too many adjustment possibilities are needed.
As soon as you put on the Inland, you know it’s all good. Firm. Excellently ventilated too, thanks to the 3D-mesh in all the right places and a mesh lining that warrants a balanced climate control. It’s probably best to avoid harsh rain showers.
The hoodie provides the extra styling element. The two drawstrings are neatly fitted in a specially designed loop and of course, you can fix the hood in the back. Stylish is good, fluttering fabric is not. Therefore, there’s always the option to remove the hood altogether, should you want to.
The Belt Loop is easy to use and combined with a decent pair of motorcycle jeans and a pair of firm motorcycle sneakers, you can take to the road without cares. Sunglasses and an open-faced helmet are considerable options.
There is maintenance clothing, and then there is clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. Invest in its maintenance after your purchase and enjoy your gear for longer.
