These Belfast 2.0 motorcycle gloves by IXS are clearly a pair of classic goatskin gloves. Almost entirely made of supple leather and well-perforated but with enough body to be recognised as genuine motorbike gloves.
So, no mesh gloves, if there is such a thing – or should be such a thing.
The Belfast 2.0 is still a solid motorcycle glove. The light textile lining doesn’t change that, and neither do the perforated leather or the relatively short cuff. The double layers of goatskin, supplemented with padding and an integrated Impacton® knuckle protector but also the TPU-inserts on three of the four fingers warrant a proper protection. A comfortable one at that, with just enough stretch and an adjustable Velcro closure.
The Belfast 2.0 motorcycle gloves are EN 13594:2015-certified and its style leans towards all that is classic, retro, vintage, custom or anything else that is just plain tasteful.
