They look sporty, light and fast, and actually they are. The Sektor is waterproof and has all the safety features you'd expect when it comes to motorcycling shoes.
A lightweight microfiber is the base material from which the Sektor is constructed almost entirely. The matte black exterior is stylish and durable, while underneath, a number of protective elements provide the necessary safety. The lateral ankle protector, a slider, toe and heel protection, they're all there and they're all high-level. It guarantees a solid base to start with.
Yet at no point are the Sektor motorcycle shoes heavy, inelegant or large. In the tradition of real racing shoes, these remain sleek, sharp motorcycle shoes that perfectly frame your foot. In a comfortable way, because with an EVA footbed, a thin rubber sole and the cutout at the height of your Achilles tendon, this footwear is up to something. The non-slip relief on the inside, combined with the sporty line, do little to hide the link with the better quality racing gear.
They are also waterproof, thanks to an integrated membrane. A small note: ankle-high shoes are of course only as waterproof as their height, but in this case that is more than you would expect from shoes with these lines.
Getting in and out is done the traditional way, where - there's the racing shoe again - you can neatly tuck the lace ends behind a stripe of velcro. A sleek design, stylish and flexible elements on the heel and bridge make the Sektor motorcycle shoe very pleasant and, not to mention, waterproof companions.
