Concrete, this is an Alpinestars Transversal Protection Frame (TPF), which prevents – simply put – your toes and heel from meeting up. At the bottom, an advanced rubber sole with PU ensures – once again – a mixture of comfort and functional grip that is characteristic of the Chrome.
Sneakers like these used to have a negative image, especially because a couple of smarty pants kept hooking their laces behind the gear or brake lever.
