This medium-sized EA143 Tanklock tankbag is versatile and spacious, which makes it ideal for day trips or short rides.
The shape of this enduro tankbag makes it especially suitable for motorbikes with a rather slanting fuel tank. This Easy-T is new to the range and can only be mounted onto a Tanklock mounting ring.
You can find the right Tanklock mounting ring for your motorbike here.
A safety strap around the steering head for additional attachment guarantees the EA143 stays in place while you’re on the move. Two external side pockets – to be zipped open separately and easily accessible from the outside – offer limited additional storage options. There’s a third mesh storage compartment on the side of the rider. The spacious main storage compartment is provided with a long zipper with two pullers. The central storage compartment has no internal subdivisions.
At the top, there’s a storage compartment with a transparent window, where you can store a map, tablet or your smartphone. The access to this transparent compartment is situated on the outside of the tankbag.
The GIVI Enduro Easy-T is made of sturdy 600D polyester with removable PVC reinforcements. The presence of a handle allows you to easily take this tankbag with you at a stop. The supplied shoulder strap instantly changes this bag into a shoulder bag.
Reflective details enhance visibility in the evenings and at night.
The dimensions of this tankbag are 25cm (H) x 36cm (L) x 32cm (W). The height can be expanded with a zipper. The maximum volume of this tankbag is then 27 litres.
Attention! Tank bags are attached to the petrol cap, which is - if all goes well - standard in one place. That means: you can't really 'move' with a tanklock tankbag, like you can with magnetic bags, you can choose whether you place them higher or lower on the tank. Short nakeds with a relatively small fuel tank and large tankbags that use tanklock, can cause a conflict at handlebar height. In any case: more luggage space should never be at the expense of better handling.
But ... there are solutions. The bigger the tankbag, the more flexibility it usually offers. The mounting ring of the tank latch system can - in certain cases - be moved. Not meters, but enough to create space and safety.
Because this is a relatively large tankbag, there is a chance that the available space between your fuel cap (tank lock!) and your handlebar is indeed too limited to be comfortable and safe. In that case the mounting ring can be moved in three positions (loosen four screws and tighten them again). This way you quickly gain a few centimeters.
