This universal Tanklock tankbag can be situated in the ‘medium-size’ category. With a 15-litre content, to be expanded to 20 litres, you can effortlessly take this on your weekend trip.
This X-Line is new to the range and can only be mounted onto a Tanklock mounting ring. You can find the right Tanklock mounting ring for your motorbike here.
The X-line by GIVI is characterised by the solid, strong 1200D outer shell with TPU inserts. Partly pre-shaped, UV-resistant and REACH, this is a storage solution that matters. Nevertheless, GIVI uses the ‘keep it simple’ ideology because apart from a central storage compartment with waterproof inner bag, there seems to be nothing more to it. But don’t be fooled: there’s an extra front storage compartment – to be reached separately through a zipper – and a transparent map holder to mount to the XL06. Which is surprisingly easy to do, to be honest. Thanks to the little Fidlock® magnet.
Other accessories: a cable outlet and a handle, shoulder strap and safety strap to attach everything around the handlebars.
The central storage unit can be reached through a zipper with two pullers. By bringing the openings of both pullers together, you can close off the tankbag with a combination lock.
Reflective details enhance visibility in the evening and at night. The dimensions of this tankbag are 21cm x 23cm x 20cm. The dimensions of the transparent map display are 20cm x 26cm.
Attention! Tanklock tankbags are attached to the fuel cap, which is – usually – standard in one place. This means that you can’t really ‘move’ the tanklock bag around, like you would place a magnetic bag a little higher or a little lower on your fuel tank. Short nakeds with a relatively small fuel tank and large tankbags using tanklock might cause a problem at steering height. Anyway: storage space should never interfere with steering control.
The Tanklock system can be moved on the XL06 with four screws, which offers new possibilities.
