Cardo gave their intercoms a solid update and in the Freecom X-series this translates into the Bluetooth system which, under the name 'Live Bluetooth intercom', offers high quality audio which reconnects itself when necessary.
The Freecom 2X is aimed at motorcyclists who only need one colleague or passenger. In exchange you enjoy excellent sound quality, thanks to the Live Bluetooth but also to the JBL speakers. Through the latter, the heavenly musical sounds of the built-in FM-radio are deliciously driven into your ear.
With the Freecom 2X you can stay connected up to 800 meters away.
Cardo's newest communication line is one that can update without a USB cable or laptop. This Freecom 2X pretty much keeps itself updated and uses the Cardo Connect app to do so. And Bluetooth, but you have needed that by default in the intercom world for some time. The new update capabilities get the winged name 'over the air software update'.

General remark: The world of electronics (which also includes intercoms, smartphones, GPS, etc.) is changing so fast that it is possible that some (outdated) devices are not compatible with each other in certain areas. Unfortunately, the manufacturer can't provide us with data that shows which combinations between intercoms/GPS and/or smartphones cause problems. A regular update of all electronic devices is therefore desirable to avoid problems as much as possible.
