Hyde XT Drystar®X – it’s a tongue twister – refers to the construction of adventurous trails and to the waterproof Drystar®XF-membrane that turns these motorcycle gloves into a fun, smart and primarily very comfortable candidate to ride around in almost all year long.
The style and characteristics – technically and visually – tend towards everything ‘motocross’. Or close to it. Adventure bikes, a splash of mud, side-track to the asphalt or just a good match with the crossover motorbike helmet, that too.
Anyway, the half-long Hyde XT Drystar®XF motorcycle gloves are designed to allow an excellent steering feel and lots of feedback from the motorcycle. The modular, laminated Drystar®XF membrane provides superior breathing capabilities. This membrane contains hydrophile technology, where vapour from the body is absorbed and ‘desorbed’ on the outside, to deliver 100% waterproof functioning. It is also easily packable and quick-drying. There. To go and play outside.
The knuckle protector is hidden underneath the top layer but is certainly present and palpable. Softer than a cup, it doesn’t hinder the movements adventurous motorbike riders make quickly and often at all. All this is facilitated by the presence of stretch. And before you can start to think what would be missing: the reinforced, synthetic suede on the palm and presence of goatskin are the perfect combo to hold the handlebars firmly, even when the front wheel is doing tricks on its own.
Comfortable, solid, wear-resistant, lots of feeling, seamless wrist closure and short cuff, finger bridge and a touchscreen compatible thumb and index finger: the Hyde XT Drystar®XF doesn’t really have a sounding name, but they truly are sound to ride around in.
