A light, price-conscious mesh motorcycle jacket for explicit summer use, that’s the T-SP X Superair. Take specific notice of the prefix ‘super-‘ which signifies a superlative of ventilation.
A sporty style and versatile nature also describe the T-SP X Superair. Tech-Air® is obviously an option, although the ‘Air’ in this has a different meaning.
The chassis – the exterior – consists of a multi-textile with an important role for 600D. The observant motorcyclist (and we all are) will notice the 600D. This is often referred to in the first paragraphs of motorcycle jackets’ descriptions and with good reason: it is wear- and tear-resistant. It offers a decent base, supplemented here with mesh. Lots of mesh. Lots and lots of mesh. Large panels on the chest, back and arms guarantee a permanent air stream.
The T-SP X Superair is a motorcycle jacket you wear when you really don’t want to wear one at all. Something like that. If you take its competitive price, combine it with Alpinestars’ quality and reputation, and you can never really go wrong with this.
There aren’t many optimisation options. Sporty is the way to go and apart from the waist, upper arms and sleeve ends, there’s not much need for further adjustment. Which makes ‘apart from’ very relative. Tight in the sports suit, something like that. Two zippered slash pockets and a couple of inner pockets offer the storage space you need.
The design is equally bright and clear: logo on the chest and done. Off you go. No further questions. Alpinestars’ own Nucleon Flex Plus-protectors on shoulders and elbows safeguard a proper dose of impact protection. Never excessive, always performing. Light too. Just like the entire T-SP X Superair is a lightweight.
An optional Nucleon Level 1 and / or Nucleon Level 2 Back Protector can be integrated easily and quickly, just like you have the possibility to add chest protectors. There’s proper reflective material on the upper arms – in the shape of discrete strips – and on the back as well.
Price-quality-wise, this is a top-act, without a doubt.
