The Halo Drystar®-motorbike trousers are touring trousers with adventure ambitions, in a package that matches the eponymous motorcycle jacket. These trousers are not perfect extensions to that jacket but the large ventilation panels and their usefulness in all weather conditions is a clear link.
Just like the Halo Drystar®-motorcycle jacket, the Halo Drystar®-motorcycle trousers strive to be textile-embodied versatility. The most important manifestations are the Drystar®-membrane that can be worn over as well as under the trousers, and the large panels folding inward, exposing equally large ventilation panels. The result are motorcycle trousers that evolve from very summery to very wet and pretty chilly. Simply by manipulating a couple of zippers and a little skill.
Nucleon Flex armor is what Alpinestars’ standard impact protection is called. Good quality, flexible and combined with textile more than sufficient to be safe on the road – in normal circumstances.
There are some individual adjustment possibilities, at the waist (adjustable belt) and the legs (also an adjustable belt-with-loop). The ergonomics of the design leave nothing to chance: you easily switch riding positions when wearing the Halo Drystar®, but also constructions and set-ups.
There is storage space thanks to a couple of cargo pockets. The Drystar®-membrane doubles as rain trousers/overpants should you want it to and the adjustable suspenders will get you a long way as well.
The Halo Drystar®-motorcycle trousers are interesting trousers on their own but their link with the eponymous motorcycle jacket seems evident. The enormous versatility in all weather conditions turns the entire Halo package into an interesting option.
