The Hyperspeed 2 GT Air motorcycle jacket is an adapted urban mesh version of the Hyperspeed 2 theme that also belongs on the powerful family tree. Leaning towards the athletic side of the family in style and design but more of an urbanite with its high degree of sophistication.
This Hyperspeed 2 GT Air is a lot less ‘racing’ and a lot more ‘urban’ than a number of its near-namesakes. A genuine mesh jacket. So, preferably used in summer, in textile.
More precise: 3L Softshell, extraordinarily pleasant and comfortable, apart from very wear-resistant. Furthermore, the exterior of this motorcycle jacket consists of a lot of mesh. Front, back and on the arms, delivering a light-weight with wear-resistant qualities. Ventilation openings are redundant, as is a thermal lining: this is a summer’s jacket, a decision that is pretty clear.
Visually, the design still radiates enough speed to be viewed as ‘sporty’ on the streets. Not too much, because there are no external sliders. It has to be said, though, that what is left, is still of outstanding quality. SEESMART® Level 1 CE-protectors on the shoulders and elbows are standard and who wants can fit a SEESOFT® RV or SEESOFT® Air CE back protector.
The sleeve ends got a dash of Velcro. The adjustment option in the waist consists of a drawstring. On the upper arms, REV’IT! went for pushbuttons. The cut of the Hyperspeed 2 GT Air is a little more ‘textile’ than its tighter, sharper, leather brothers, which is perfectly normal. Even with the longer back and the available space to move, it is still very clear where inspiration emerged.
Reflective material is found in the logo and the name. REV’IT! is not a fan of ‘excessive’ and prefers to keep it subtle.
If you want to go for the total look, with the short connecting zipper and the double Belt Loop, you can combine this motorcycle jacket with motorbike jeans or textile REV’IT! motorcycle trousers.
