With the Berlin H2O, you add an extra layer to your closet. Waterproof over trousers like these are perfect to wear over the base layer. The daily commuter, frequent rider, all-season rider or the biker who is suddenly stricken with an urgent need to wear an additional (waterproof) layer while on the road, will find an excellent companion in these.
The Berlin H2O comes in a surprising array of appearances for over trousers: standard, long and short sizes … Something must be really off for someone not to find their fit.
Two side-zippers over almost the entire length really facilitate donning and doffing. In the upper right, three centimetres of Softshell sort of keep the entire thing together, making sure you never really lose the cut. On the left, you can open and close all zippers with two pulls. This system helps to grab those keys or your phone when are faster to put on the Berlin H2O than expected. Yes, that’s possible, with over trousers like these. And it emphasises that the Berlin H2O was designed to wear over regular pants, motorcycle jeans and a pair of motorbike boots, without too much effort.
The wear-resistant exterior is surprisingly enough a Softshell. In three layers (3L) and with more than enough sturdiness. A Hydratex G-Liner membrane, quite standard at REV’IT!, is integrated and therefore non-removable. There is no extra lining. The SEESMART CE-level 1 protectors on the knees and optionally added SEESMART CE-level 1 protectors on the hips give a high level of impact protection.
Don’t go looking for a zip or button. The waist can be adjusted with a double Velcro strip. At the bottom of the pant leg, there are a couple of Velcro strips to somewhat limit the play.
You don’t have any additional pockets in the Berlin H2O , but you obviously do have discrete reflective strips.
