This is 'part 3' of the REV'IT!-playground for sneaker lovers. Next to the waterproof Delta H2O and the summery Arrow, this is pretty much the golden mean. And proof that you don't have to choose between style and safety.
The heel and toe protectors are standard in every motorcycle shoe that bravely wants to position itself in that market segment. And these Jeffersons have no shortage of bravado. They look like tough guys and they can stand up comfortably next to any sneaker. These are shoes that choose themselves. Even if you don't plan to ride a bike, you'll find yourself wearing them. Just because they're nice, comfortable and easy.
Nevertheless, they have everything you need to get on safely. The base is leather (nubuck), which in a context like this is never a bad choice. For comfort, its wear- and tear-resistant properties are complemented by canvas (the shaft and tongue) and a soft mesh lining. Partially ventilated, the Jefferson is a versatile shoe, which we dare to think you'll also wear when the bike stays at home. And what isn't obvious on the outside, remains present nonetheless. An ankle cup, thermoform toe and ankle protection or an anatomical footbed - although at first glance a sneaker is not a big deal, it is surprising how much technological ingenuity is present here.
Note the subtle reflective strip on the back of the heel.
