There are only a few good excuses for wearing sneakers on a motorcycle. Even in the rain, the Delta H2O is still a strong, ankle-high and above all safe motorcycle shoe.
Yet it feels like any other sneaker and it looks like one. It’s what is hidden, that counts. A Hydratex® membrane for example, which is breathable but also has waterproof properties. Or the ankle cup, which together with the (thermoform) toe- and heel protection forms the backbone of the Delta H2O. Or the anatomical footbed, which has been incorporated into every REV'IT shoe since 2020. Plenty to choose from.
The exterior consists of reinforced jeans, complemented with leather. The Delta H2O is first and foremost a waterproof shoe. The properties of the membrane also avoid the sauna effect that other footwear tends to be guilty of, so it all stays comfortable. In all circumstances. Even next to the bike, indeed. The time where an ankle-high motorcycle shoe was just a half sawn off motorcycle boot, is long behind us.
You open and close them with laces. Surprising perhaps - especially in motorcycle shoes - but there is still something to be said for that. Don’t go looking for a zipper, or an extra cover strap. Close up well and pay attention is the message here. It does not detract from the Delta H2O which is made with an eye for detail and a lot of sense of style. Pay attention to the sturdy white soles, or the cut-out at the height of the Achilles’ tendon.
This is all on a high level. To such an extent that we think the Delta H20 isn't just for when you’ve planned a motorcycle ride.
