The 3-in-1 consists of polyester 600D on the outside, polyester polyester ripstop (PWR|Shell) and 500D stretch, depending on where wear-resistance, flexibility and extra reinforcements are most needed.
REV’IT! traditionally employs the Hydratex membrane for waterproof properties and let’s be honest: as it is used here, it feels really nice. There’re the breathing properties and there’s the way the membrane stretches. To complete the motorbike trousers, it also got a comfortable thermal lining. Evidently, both are easily and quickly removed from the Outback 4, which gives you the opportunity to open up the VCS ventilation panels for extra riding wind and the related coolness.
Anti-skid material on the seat ensures a correct sitting position. The back of these trousers is finished a little higher than the front to make sure there is plenty of protection, even when sitting in the typical riding position.
The standard SEEFLEX CE-level 2 knee protectors and the SEESMART CE-level 1 hip protectors have been developed by REV’IT! itself and are of the best material around when it comes to impact protection as well as wearing comfort. Judiciously placed reflective strips on the upper legs enhance visibility in darker circumstances.
At the bottom, the trouser legs open up thanks to a mid-length zipper. Velcro strips allow for a perfectly adjustable fit, over or inside your motorbike boots. To close the Outback 4 H2O at the top, REV’IT! uses a sturdy pushbutton and zipper. There are adjustment options in the waist in the form of length-adjustable straps. Two properly closable side pockets allow you to store a few necessities.
