SEGURA Sparks Black

Softshell and goatskin leather, those are the main ingredients of the Sparks motorcycle gloves by Segura. Wintery companions-de-route that link a more than decent steering sense to sufficient warmth and yet maintaining a classic style – we love it.

Segura usually applies a recognisable styling. In that regard, the Sparks aren’t all that prominent. Black softshell is no exceptional material and it fulfils its expected duty perfectly. Although it has to be said that the 120mg thermal lining and the integrated waterproof membrane take on their share of the task as well. In any case, the totality creates a warm, pleasant and yet sufficiently practical motorcycle glove.

The goatskin leather palm obviously focuses on grip and steering feel. And it does so successfully. And with a couple of additional palm reinforcements, should things go south. The back of the hand has to count on the protection of the knuckle protector in that instance.

The Sparks motorcycle gloves are winter gloves with a long cuff, which closes nicely around the wrist when you use the wide Velcro strip. The ‘sensor system’ serves to not have to take off these motorbike gloves in order to operate touchscreens.
