Softshell and goatskin leather, those are the main ingredients of the Lady Sparks motorcycle gloves by Segura. Wintery companions-de-route that link a more than decent steering feel to sufficient warmth and yet, manage to keep that classic style; we dig it.
The Lady Sparks has a ‘just different enough’ sizing table and construction from its male counterpart, which is also on the market. Segura usually employs a recognisable style and consistently maintains that principle here as well. This means that the Lady Sparks are relatively modest yet very decent motorcycle gloves.
Black softshell is not an exceptional material and it does what it is supposed to do perfectly. Although we need to add that the 120-gram thermal lining and the integrated waterproof membrane have a helping hand in that respect. The sum of those parts results in a warm, pleasant and yet sufficiently practical motorcycle glove.
The goatskin leather palm focuses obviously on grip and steering feel. And it does so successfully – with a couple of added palm reinforcements, just in case things go south. In such an occasion, the back of the hand mainly counts on the knuckle protector to act as impact protection.
The Lady Sparks motorcycle gloves are winter gloves with a long cuff that closes neatly around the wrist when you use the wide Velcro strip appropriately. The ‘sensor system’ ensures that you don’t have to take off these gloves to operate a touchscreen.
