The Macna Rancher is a waterproof touring motorcycle jacket with a removable thermal lining. The price is sharp, performances are good, even when conditions are very divergent. Bring it on.
The Rancher is a textile motorcycle jacket with typical Macna cut: a tad shorter in the front and finished longer in the back, for practical use on a motorcycle.
No bulging jacket, no cold chills on your back, that’s what it comes down to in a nutshell. The integrated Raintex® membrane takes care of the waterproofness while a removable thermal lining makes this motorcycle jacket suitable for all seasons. In summer, two ‘Airscoop’ ventilation openings-with-zip halfway down the front allow for a dose of riding wind. With an exterior made of wear resistant ripstop, complemented with Fybrex, you can rest assured that tear resistance is on point. It even feels nice and comfortable. The removable lining and the fixed membrane make us think that you’d rather ride all throughout spring and fall in this, than high summer.
The Rancher has a number of characteristics, technical elements on board. ‘Easy cuff’ obliterates fouling with loops and different layers of lining at the sleeve ends. The Coat hanger in the back also belongs in this category.
Thanks to a drawstring on the inside, the adjustability on each flank, Velcro in the collar and press studs on the forearms, you can customise this Rancher to perfection. You decide on the CE-certified back protector; the level 1 elbow protector and level 1 shoulder protection come standard. There is more than enough reflective material.
Two wide storage pockets offer room to store whatever you’d like to bring.
There’s also the easily accessible inner pockets and a smaller storage pocket in the removable lining. The Rancher is an excellent, competitively priced motorcycle jacket and the perfect companion of the Forge motorcycle trousers. For that reason, it was given a short connecting zip.
