If you want to ride with a completely heated base layer, then you obviously don’t want to forget about your feet. This Lava 2.0 pair of electrically heated socks is made if merino wool. Their excellent natural properties were given an electrical boosted by Macna.
Due to the relatively small available space and the need for wearing comfort, the first consideration might be to supply these heated socks with power via the (equipped for that purpose) Centre trousers. The connectors inside the trousers and the socks are perfectly compatible.
If you only want to wear the Lava 2.0 electrically heated socks, then the best (and only) option are the 7.4 2.2A batteries. There is only enough space to incorporate these batteries.

The Lava 2.0 socks are Bluetooth connected and can be controlled with the Macna HEATED-app (Android and iOS compatible). Attention: upon installing the app, it will request location permission. If you refuse, there might be connection issues between the app and the garment. If you prefer less Bluetooth connectivity, then you can also use the socks with the traditional button.
Seen as there are electronic parts inside these motorcycle socks, it’s evident that they can’t be washed in the washing machine. It’s okay to wash them by hand, on condition that you hand-dry the connectors with a hair blower afterwards.
