The Trohn motorcycle trousers by Modeka are robust, waterproof textile motorcycle trousers for commuters and all-season riders. These 2-in-1s prove to be budget-friendly and light travel partners with more than enough adjustment options and flexibility.
The exterior of an all-rounder like the Trohn consists mainly of wear-resistant fabric. Modeka went for a combination of Cordura® ripstop and 500D Polyamide. They added Aramid on the calves, to protect against the heat of the engine. Even with the Humax®-membrane, this is still a pretty reasonable weight, granting the Trohn motorcycle trousers an additional plus as a 2-in-1. And there are still a couple of discoveries to make.
You can wear an all-rounder like the Trohn anywhere and anytime. You adjust it along the way, according to circumstances, preference or urgency. The ventilation zips on the upper legs allow for direct riding wind to pass and for the reversed result, we rely on the removable Humax®membrane. This waterproof and windproof membrane is a familiar name at Modeka and carries out its duties wonderfully.
The cargo pockets left and right should be – we speak in the conditional here – waterproof according to Modeka and are assisted by two slash pockets with zipper. Everything combined, this is a lot of storage space.
With (height-adjustable) YF®-protectors on the knees, impact protection is on par. Level 1, CE-certified and optionally supplemented with SAS-TEC® SC-1/07 or SC-1/KA, that’s up to you to decide. That same concept is maintained by Modeka in the Trohn by the triple press stud rows on the calves and the adjustable (Velcro) straps in the waist. Above the knee (in the back), you also get to choose between three press studs. More than plenty elastic elements, stretch and a very wide sizing table do the trick.
The removable, adjustable suspenders are of a high-quality and you effortlessly combine these trousers with the Trohn motorcycle jacket thanks to the connecting zip. The reflective strips (3M) do as they are told at night without being too obvious during the day.
