This Chuck Air is the summer motorcycle jacket from Modeka’s softshell collection. The price tag is an argument in itself and immediately assuages expectations: we don’t recommend attempting to break lap records in this, using it for urban trips all the more.
One condition is the weather. And still. The softshell is water-repellent and relatively windproof. So, it doesn’t have to be high-summer at all. It can, because the wide mesh panels allow for sufficient riding wind to create proper cooling. The softshell on the shoulders and elbows has been reinforced with aramid fibre, providing a – albeit light – wear-resistant construction.
