The Kommander motorcycle jacket by Modeka is the ideal choice for fans of the classic style. In the best British old-school tradition, arriving somewhere with a little extra class without having to compromise on anything on the way over there.
The Kommander is a light, comfortable 2-in-1 jacket. Apart from the double layer in the most vulnerable places, the wear-resistant polyester was given a little stretch to fit nicely and neatly. The exterior has a canvas-like appearance and resembles a dressier version of an adventurous, yet stylish motorcycle jacket.
The removable Humax® membrane is a breathing and at the same time waterproof layer that allows for things to become a lot more convenient during the ride. It opens up possibilities and although a third layer (the thermal lining) is missing here, the Kommander will especially be useful during spring and autumn time. For more summery days, you can count on the direct AirVent zips. They are more than effective in the front thanks to their length.
YF® protectors on shoulders and elbows (level 1) complete their task with ease without being too conspicuous about it. Being ‘conspicuous’ is something the Kommander does in another, more subtle way. Pay attention to the beautiful cut, the shiny logos and the distinctive cover flap at the collar – just to name a few.
Storage space can be found in a number of inner pockets, two slash pockets and a chest pocket. Reflective strips are invisible during the day but do as they are told in the evening and at night.
You combine this motorcycle jacket with a pair of leather motorcycle gloves, motorcycle shoes and motorcycle jeans, we think. We wouldn’t mind a little diamond stitch here or there, either.
