BERING employs an excellent technology for these heated motorcycle gloves. The Lady Breva are excellent, watertight companions.
The Lady Breva come with a battery and 4 heating settings each. Mainly your fingertips will enjoy the B-Warm System that effectively creates heat through electrical conduction. You don’t see it and you don’t really feel it, not until you push the button of the 7.4V battery on the cuff. This is small and does not bother you in any way. When the battery’s using about 25% of its capacity, it will keep doing that for about 8 hours. If you go for the highest setting – 100% - then you get about two hours to completely melt away. It doesn’t have to be much longer because at 100%, the B-Warm System generates quite a lot of energy. There are two more steps between the extremes so the options are plenty, depending on circumstances and your personal preference.
If the battery is completely drained at last, then you can charge it with the USB-cable (or the supplied adapter) in three hours’ time.
The Lady Breva motorcycle gloves are relatively long motorbike gloves. That there’s a battery hidden in them most definitely has something to do with shielding of the sleeve ends. The exterior is softshell, lined with Primaloft® and a watertight membrane. This feels good even without the heating ‘on’.
Softshell also means ‘light’ and ‘soft’ although you shouldn’t underestimate the knuckle protection and the reinforcements on the palm. Heated motorcycle gloves are first and foremost full-blown motorcycle gloves: excellent grip, lots of protection, a high level of wear-resistance are core values.
The two 7.4V/1.5A batteries are included as standard, as is a charger. The Lady Breva are outstanding heated motorcycle gloves and just excellent motorcycle gloves altogether.
Since these gloves contain electronic components, it goes without saying that they cannot be put in the washing machine. A gentle hand wash is possible, provided you dry the connectors with a hair dryer after washing.
