The Lady Boogie GTX motorcycle gloves are warm, waterproof, semi-winter motorbike gloves stocked with a combination of high-quality materials.
Strictly speaking they belong in the months between summer and winter and vice versa: the off-season, where temperatures fluctuate and a downpour is never out of the picture. Not even in these dysregulated climate times. With decent heated grips, we can be certain: bears simply wear the Lady Boogie GTX all year round. This is perfectly doable, seen as the Lady Boogie GTX motorcycle gloves are made of GORE-TEX®, Amara, neoprene and goatskin leather, with enough softshell to summon a warm feeling. There’s also a men’s Boogie GTX motorcycle glove with the same excellent qualities.
Softshell is the basis for the exterior. The accordion panels on the fingers and mainly the hand palms consist of a combination of mostly Amara and goatskin leather, sensation-wise still the best option to keep both hands at the handlebar in a controlled manner. However, it’s what you don’t see that matters: the Lady Boogie GTX has been given a Gore-Tex®-membrane. Breathing, waterproof and premium all-round.
Add the 60-gram (that’s plenty) lining to that – as a third layer – and there can only be one logical conclusion: dry, warm and comfortable. We barely failed to tie our shoe laces with these but it’s all still surprisingly convenient. The knuckle protector is hidden a little bit underneath the aforementioned layers, but it’s a solid one. With the impact protectors we also count the hand palm reinforcements. The Lady Boogie GTX is obviously not a racing glove, so this protective material is more than sufficient.
Wearing the Lady Boogie GTX motorbike gloves, every button is accessible and controllable. You don’t have to take them off in order to operate a touchscreen (thanks to the Sensor System), while you can just as easily remove a few drops from your visor on the go. The visor wiper is not made of plastic but of the material that’s attached to the side of your index finger.
The cuff is long and can be worn over or inside the sleeve.
