The SHARK Evo ES is an update of the Evo-One 2. Even more accurately, the ES, which stands for 'essence' brings the exceptional flip-up helmet that is the Evo-One 2 back to its essentials. And in return, it comes out a lot more tightly priced.
Compact, light and very versatile, this motorcycle helmet with its double homologation, as full-fledged full-face helmet and just as full-fledged jet helmet, is a real asset. Meanwhile, the teething problems have been resolved. The Shark Evo ES weighs 1650 grams and is made of injected thermoplastic, just like its brothers. The helmet sizes are divided over two helmet shells, because compactness and lightness remain important.
The patented 'auto-up & auto-down' system to flip up/down the chin guard in one fluent movement, gives this helmet family their distinctive look. The optimized buckle locks easily and securely into place, without making contact with the helmet shell along the way. The patented system literally transforms the Evo ES from a full-fledged full-face helmet to an equally full-fledged jet helmet in an instant. It makes the Evo ES one of the most versatile motorcycle helmets of the moment.
A good and healthy air flow starts with the central chin ventilation, which you can easily operate, even with gloves on. Top ventilation comes in the form of two sliders and at the back a spoiler with built-in openings ensures that the wind can exit the helmet. The Evo ES comes standard with a clear anti-scratch and anti-fog visor and a built-in sun visor. The sun visor is operated with a slider on top of the helmet. Where in previous versions the slider was still sensitive to damage, this version is made of hard plastic.
The transparent anti-vapor and anti-scratch visor** makes a Pinlock® unnecessary. However, regular after-treatment of the visor with Shark anti-vapor spray is necessary to maintain the anti-vapor function.
The interior of the Evo ES received more than a facelift: BIRD EYES is the name of the removable, washable and hypoallergenic liner that is easy to maintain. The inner shell is equipped to mount intercom speakers. With the Shark Easy fit system, this motorcycle helmet is also easy to use for glasses wearers.
The motorcycle helmet has a length-adjustable, soft chin strap with a Microlock that can be adjusted very precisely. A well-designed neck rim reduces the risk of whiplash.
The windproof chin strap uses a magnetic folding system. A plastic loop in a contrasting color allows for better protection of the chin guard. With a little tap, everything returns to its original state.
With the Shark Evo ES you can enjoy a complete, safe and very functional motorcycle helmet all year long.
For the maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the outside. For cleaning the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
The reflective stickers to stick on the helmet, mandatory in France, are included.

This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip?
