The main component of the DAINESE motorbike boot is definitely full-grain cowhide leather, (invisibly) assisted by a lot of integrated Gore-Tex® Performance-membrane and a dose of plastic elements that offer the right protection, resulting in a husky motorcycle boot. The shaft is 35cm high counting from the floor and has been laced from top to bottom with a lace system that hides behind the double closure and the shinbone protector. You don’t just slide in but it doesn’t take half a day to put the Seeker on either. And: this is obviously a hefty motorcycle boot; it’s not a slipper.
Despite the presented accessories, the DAINESE Seeker Gore-Tex® is still a pretty slim model. Athletic almost, never heavy and always comfortable. A little Italianesque we’d almost think, with a lot of style and flair. Safety and security, coupled with a lot of freedom and a smooth appearance, something like that.
The high-quality leather construction with waterproof Gore-Tex® Performance membrane will protect you from the elements and it does this is in a way that is never over the top: it’s there but you’ll only notice because your feet stay dry.
DAINESE Pro Armor-shinbone protector and rigid inserts on and around the ankles create a cocoon for your toes, feet, ankles and a part of your lower leg to reside in comfortably. The back of the Seeker Gore-Tex® is almost entirely made of fine accordion fabric. This offers, together with two eye-catching metal ‘QuickLacing System’ clasps, sufficient flexibility and adjustment possibilities.
In the Seeker, your feet will rest on a soft Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort shoe membrane and that tongue twister is the thing that manages to keep your temperature regulation on point. Breathing: yes, sweating: preferably no.
