Because it would be idiotic to use only half of your paddock stand when your motorbike has a single-sided swingarm, Bike-Lift designed a paddock stand specifically for that purpose.
This is a left-sided rear wheel paddock stand. This means that there’s also a paddock stand for motorcycles with their package on the right side.
The single swingarm – and by extension, the entire motorbike – is supported by a well-manufactured frame of 5,6 kilograms. The four nylon wheels are of excellent make and the entire unit can be equipped with a series of ‘pins’ for just about every motorcycle that has a single-sided swingarm – on the correct side.
So, the paddock stand itself is near-universal (height: 42,5cm and for the left-sided swingarm), the adaptor is motorcycle-specific. Hence, why they are sold separately. The pin can rotate while in the paddock stand.
Those adaptors and pins are a field of study all on their own but they exist for bikes such as BMW R1200GS, Ducati (many diameters), Honda (1000) CBR (before and after 2018), MV Agusta F4 and Triumph. The pins are sold separately; the diameter of the pin being the vital indicator.
Safety first: do not sit on the bike while it is on a paddock stand.
