We are brave enough to call this splashproof Ranger 2 motorcycle boot/motorcycle shoe a classic now. Well, actually, it already was, also with regard to look & feel, but the fact that a second version was developed, illustrates that this is a very practical, decent, intensively usable motorcycle boot with appeal.
The Ranger 2 was designed for all-season use. More precisely: don’t take it out to the beach but apart from that, almost anything is possible. The leather, oil-treated exterior contains an integrated High-Tex® membrane and that extra buffer makes this a splashproof motorcycle shoe. A High-Tex® membrane also turns this motorbike shoe into a windproof version and for a better lifespan and added wearing comfort, you can treat the leather exterior with a water-repellent product.
In the field of safety, the comfortable Ranger 2 is assisted by the patented D3O®-material the ankle cup is made of. D3O® focuses on an efficient shock absorption and protection, combined with an extraordinary wearing comfort and maximum flexibility. It feels really flexible, until an impact hardens it in a split-second.
A firm, oil and petrol resistant vulcanised rubber sole (Goodyear) with lots of grip provides a comfortable twin use, on and next to the motorbike. Opening and closing the motorcycle boot is quick and effortless, mostly thanks to the zip closure (on the inside) with Velcro strip at the top. The laces have an aesthetic function first and can be stored away high and dry, while the tab in the back helps putting on the Ranger 2.
